Happy Easter!

Happy Easter, everyone!

Mom and I were going to take pictures of each other in our Easter Sunday best, but we were so tired and cold that we put our "comfy clothes" on as soon as we got home from church/lunch. So, you'll have to settle for a picture of Squirt and the Easter Bunny. (Somehow I thought he'd be bigger...)

After exchanging cards and a few treats, mom and I decided to visit Mrs. Brewster's church. (For those of you who don't know, that's Bonney's mom). We looked around and couldn't find her. If she went to sunrise service, she's brave, it was COLD! We did run into Mrs. Foster (long-time family friend) and another former neighbor from the Scarborough days.

After the service, we went to the Old Country Buffet (our eatery of choice). I wasn't very hungry, so we thought we'd putter around the mall first. It was closed. D'oh! There was a line going out the door of the Buffet and we froze our buns off. It was packed full of people. We're not going there again next year. Too much craziness! As I sit and type this, I'm still full to the gills (3+ hours later!) Once we got home, we watched a little TV and played a game of bunny toss (see above bunny on Squirt's head). We've been loafing around ever since.
